Biography

I was born on a sunny Thursday in October and I guess the reason why I became a singer is my mom. When she was pregnant with me she had to prepare for her exam in voice and so I reckon the first sound I heard was my mom singing. She let me play the piano when I was five and always encouraged me not to give it up, even when there were times I wanted to. She got me on stage when I was fifteen and there music got me for good. I have something about pianos, whenever I see one I want to play it. So far that brought me to many pianos all over Germany, a beautiful black grand at the Jazzcafé in London, one at the south by southwest festival in Austin/Texas, one in an Irish Pub in San Antonio/Texas and a silver stage piano in Portland/Oregon. This summer I started to work on my first CD called "Bugs with white feathers", that I recorded in Portland and I hope it will be done by next spring. I want to thank Randy Sanders, Tom Hood and over all Scott Brazieal from the bottom of my heart. At the age of thirteen I wrote my first song. The second line of it was "who I will be in twenty years from now?" The last concert I sang that, I felt pretty funny realising that of those twenty years, thirteen already had passed by. Life is precious and we should be living, loving, learning and growing - every moment to its fullest! So I want to keep on playing on all the pianos that are within my reach and see where I end up...
